2016 Jack J. Sophir Arrowman of the Year Award Recipients:

Ray Kreienkamp

Scouter Ray Kreienkamp has made a tremendous impact on Pathfinder Chapter’s communications and Troop Representative program. In his four years as the chapter’s Troop Representative Adviser, he has been a fantastic resource for the various Troop Rep Chairmen. With Ray’s leadership and guidance, Pathfinder has: implemented Troop Representative Training at Fall Camporees; promoted the OA Troop Representative Adviser position of reponsibility and attained a Troop Rep Adviser in the vast majority of Scout troops; and promoted the Order of the Arrow Unit of Excellence Award, which multiple troops in our district have earned. Through a successful Troop Representative program and effective communication, attendance at chapter events has increased year after year. Ray has also helped advise the Chapter Officers on effective chapter-wide communication, with the adoption of new communication technologies. Due to their success in Pathfinder Chapter, many of these initiatives are being adopted by Shawnee Lodge or other chapters. Ray is an Eagle Scout, who served as a Chapter Chief and Shawnee Lodge Officer while a youth Arrowman. His youth Scouting and OA experience has enabled him to be an exceptional Adviser, and Pathfinder Chapter has greatly benefited from his ideas and leadership. For his humble, behind-the-scenes service to Pathfinder Chapter, we enthusiastically present Ray Kreienkamp with the Jack. J. Sophir Arrowman of the Year Award.
